For optimal growth of SPS and LPS corals in a marine
aquarium, it is recommended that phosphate should be no higher than 0.05 ppm. Platinum No-Phos can be used to achieve these results.
Platinum No-Phos achieves chemical absorption onto the surface of the GFO and thus, for it to work effectively, it is essential that water flows through and around the media.
It is highly recommended to use GFO in a media reactor,
ensuring optimal efficiency of the product. This achieves a
constant moving media with an abundant flow through the GFO, ensuring best possible removal of phosphate.
When using Platinum No-Phos in a media bag it is
recommended that the media is regularly disturbed to prevent the product from compacting within the media bag, as this could prevent the water from freely moving through the media, causing less product efficiency.

It as an important element of coral skeletal and tissue growth, as well as promotes polyp extension on corals.
For a healthy reef aquarium it is essential to keep unwanted nutrients such as phosphate and nitrate low, while supplementing nutrients such as Amino Acids, Protein and Fatty Acids which are all included within Essential Amino.
This product can be manually dosed in a high flow area of your aquarium or can be used within a dosing system. Only dose when your aquarium lights are on as this will increase the corals uptake of the product.
Shaking is not required, however, if the product has been left standing for a length of time give it a gentle shake before use.
